If you are an instructor, click Other Tools -> Access WebAssign to configure your course. The WebAssign course must be set up through the WebAssign interface. Blackboard allows users to quickly sign in to WebAssign and access content, but only after it is first created and configured at the publisher's platform. Instructional technology and Blackboard staff do not have any administrative access to the WebAssign platform. Only the instructor can provide the link to WebAssign content.

If you are not using Blackboard, you must provide students with a class code or use your roster. The WebAssign integration will automatically link the Blackboard course to the WebAssign course. Sorry for the weird post, i didnt really know what i was asking and kinda rambled. If you are synchronizing your course in Blackboard, you do not need a class code. I really dont like drm, or renting shit, but i dont want to keep textbooks unless they're highly recommended i have $600 left from the pell grant, i was expecting to need that for textbooks or a laptop or other expenses $100 is not so much cost, but then i cannot resell the textbook - it is money gone. Put simply, if I wasn't a student at college, or a teacher, what reasons would I have to purchase Cengage Unlimited?Ĭommenters around the web say Stewart is not as rigorous as Apostol or Spivak, and disliked that he has eight editionsĪccess codes were $11 years ago and now they are much, much pricier. Will Cengage Unlimited do that? I highly doubt it, because I don't see such feature advertised. I don't take CompSci or Japanese now, and I likely will not be doing so here. And as an undergraduate, I cannot order books to the library, unless it is for a course. Some other books happen to be reserved for courses, e.g.

  • If I buy Unlimited, what does that actually entail? For example, let me ask this: I like to read, but the college or public libraries in state don't carry, for example, Minna no Nihongo or C Programming: A Modern Approach.
  • Some things that I would consider positives, but have not yet figured out are: Why should I pay 100 bucks for four months for this piece of software? Or more for more? What are its best features?

EDIT: 9 days now idk wtf this software is doing I have 13 days left in the class key trial. After looking it up, it appears to be a subscription service, that gives you access to your homework and textbooks with DRM. well, looking online i see a number of one star reviews (for cengage/webassign). I am a new, half-time college student, and the Calculus I class had no textbook, saying it was optional: The first day, teacher informs us why: We will be using Calculus by Stewart through WebAssign.
